A collection of photographs and videos bring to light the processes that take place in different parts of the Attiko Metro project, underground and behind construction sites. Visitors take a tour to unseen places: from ancient tunnels, cisterns and the Roman aqueduct to modern tunnels of the underground railway stations and the maintenance workshops of the excavation.

In a contemporary exhibition area, in the Xylapothiki building, the exhibition presents the parallel evolution of the archaeological investigation and Metro construction project in Piraeus. It focuses on the modern interdisciplinary methods applied to the collection and documentation of archaeological data in the context of a major utility project.

The presentation aims to narrate the stories behind the constructions but also aims to highlight the importance of human collaboration and cooperation.
